Along with other Calatheas the Beauty Star will thrive in high humidity. That is definitely something you will want to keep in mind when buying a Calathea. Since these plants are so tropical you will want to increase the humidity by either placing it in a well lit bathroom, putting a tray of pebbles with water in it next to the plant, misting the plant with water or investing in a humidifier.

🌞Your Beauty Star will want bright, indirect light. You will want to make sure it does not get direct sun since the sun can burn the leaves and cause the variegation to suffer.

💧You will want to make sure that your plant does not dry out fully. These plants like to stay moist, but not wet and not dry either. We recommend investing in a water meter and water when your plants gets to about a 3.
